1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Cirqular Frequencies LLC, a Kansas limited liability company ("Draft Vault," "we," "us"), the operator of Draft Vault (the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. What Draft Vault is

Draft Vault is a skill-based NFL Draft prediction game. You build a personal "board" ranking prospects and predicting trades, submit it to private pools you create or join with other users, and earn points as your predictions are scored against real draft results entered by our admins. It's built around fandom and bragging rights, not gambling — see Section 6.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Draft Vault. If you're under 18, you confirm you have a parent or guardian's permission to use the Service. We may ask you to verify your age or identity at any time and may suspend accounts we can't verify.

4. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
One account per person. Don't create multiple accounts to manipulate a pool's standings or to work around a pool's member limits or a commissioner's decisions.
The email and display name you provide should be accurate — we use your email for account recovery and important notices about the Service.

5. Pools, predictions & scoring

Pools are created and managed by their commissioner — a fellow user, not Draft Vault staff. Commissioners set each pool's scoring values, round count, and (for Southern Links pools) cut rules, and can lock, unlock, rename, or remove members from pools they run. We're not responsible for a commissioner's decisions about their own pool.
Real draft results are entered by Draft Vault admins as they're announced. We aim for accuracy and promptness but don't guarantee either — the NFL Draft is the source of truth, not our entry of it. If we correct an entry error, pool standings will change accordingly, and prior displayed points for that pick aren't a permanent guarantee.
We may adjust scoring calculations, board mechanics, or add/remove features as the Service evolves. We'll make reasonable efforts to keep any given draft cycle's scoring consistent for pools already in progress.

6. No cash prizes — this is not a gambling platform

Draft Vault itself does not offer, run, hold, or guarantee any cash or cash-equivalent prizes. Any leaderboard, standings, or "winner" designation within the Service is for bragging rights only. If you and your pool's members privately agree to a side wager, prize, or bet outside the Service (for example, "loser buys dinner"), that arrangement is exclusively between you and them — Draft Vault is not a party to it, doesn't facilitate payment for it, and takes no responsibility for it. You're responsible for knowing whether any such private arrangement is lawful where you live.

7. Acceptable use

When using Draft Vault, don't:

Attempt to bypass, probe, or circumvent the Service's security, including Row-Level Security policies, authentication, or rate limits
Scrape, bulk-extract, or systematically copy Service data (player rankings, pool data, other users' boards) outside normal use of the Service
Impersonate another person, or use another user's account without permission
Upload or submit content that's unlawful, harassing, or infringes someone else's rights (this mainly applies to display names, pool names, and mock board labels — keep them appropriate)
Use the Service to violate any applicable law

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section — see Section 12.

8. Not affiliated with the NFL

Draft Vault is an independent, fan-made prediction game. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the National Football League, any NFL team, or any player association. Team and player names appear for identification purposes in a factual, publicly available context (the draft itself); Draft Vault does not use official NFL or team logos or branded marks.

9. Intellectual property

The Draft Vault name, the Service's design, code, and original content are owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service except as necessary for your own normal personal use of it. You keep ownership of the display name, pool names, and mock labels you create, but grant us a license to display that content within the Service to fellow pool members and, where relevant, to other users (for example, a publicly-visible avg-rank aggregate).

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, though we take reasonable steps toward all three.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Draft Vault and its operators aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including disputes between pool members, lost data, or lost bragging rights. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount (if any) you've paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which, since Draft Vault is currently free, is $0.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or discontinue the Service entirely, with notice where reasonably possible.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If we make a material change, we'll update the effective date above and make reasonable efforts to notify active users. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Kansas.
